It has been a busy Christmas season for the Salvation Army with the ringing of the bells and Christmas Hamper applications.
The Salvation Army has delivered 187 hampers to residents in Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry, Sheridan and Cold Lake.
The Salvation Army is excited about a new event that they will be running on Monday December the 22nd in conjunction with the Candy Bar. Nelly Brown has the details. On the 22nd which is our regular Soup Days , the Salvation Army is doing Soup Days every Monday and Friday, so anyone who needs a hot meal gets one at the Anglican Church Hall. This year Robbie and Loraine Poirier in memory of Ernie Poirier have provided all the food for a complete dinner for anyone who come's out on the 22nd."
The dinner will take place at the Anglican Church between 11:30 am and 1pm. The Salvation Army will continue to run kettles til December the 24th and if you would like to help out and sign up you can contact Nelly at 204-687-4283.
