If you are looking for an early Christmas present for yourself or someone else, there is still time to purchase a 50/50 ticket for The Flin Flon Public Library.
The draw will take place this upcoming Tuesday, December the 16th at the Library.
Library Administrator Lisa Slugoski lets us know how you can purchase tickets.
“Tickets are $5 each, and there’s been a thousand tickets printed. You can purchase tickets at the Co-Op this weekend. We’ll be there on Friday and Saturday from 11 to 3. You could also purchase at the Library or by e-transfer if you visit our Facebook page. We use this money to supplement our Collection Development Budget. So, we use it to buy new books for the library and we appreciate all the community support.”
You can watch the draw live this Tuesday at 4pm on the Flin Flon Public Library Facebook page. Don’t forget that the Library has extended the evening hours on Tuesday and Wednesday until 6:30 pm on a trial basis. They will be open 11am to 5pm the rest of the week.
