The annual Santa Clause Parade will hit Flin Flon’s Main Street later tonight and is being hosted by the U-11 Northland Ford Bombers.
Greg Kritzer is the coach of the U-11 Bombers and is happy that his team has the chance to get involved with a popular Christmas event.
“Well it’s very important for me and our hockey group, because this community supports all of our hockey teams and not often do we get an opportunity to say thank you. And as a team we try to put together this parade, try to go and find some businesses and individuals to put together floats and give us something that we can gather for, especially in the Christmas season. It’s just a way for us to say thank you for your support and give everyone a good time for the evening.”
The parade will start at 6pm and will feature Santa, the RCMP, Fire Department and between 10 to 12 individuals and businesses that entered a float. If you would like to register a float you can drop off a registration form at CFAR during business hours today or reach out to Greg who will be taking registrations right till the start of the parade at gkritzer@gmail.com.
