It was another busy weekend for Operation Red Nose in Flin Flon and area as we hear more from the Rotary Club’s Alison Dallas Funk.
" So this past weekend we had a number of volunteers come out including the Disc Golf team, Hudbay and the Ski Club. We had a total of 27 rides and donations totalling $460.00. This upcoming weekend December the 12th and 13th, the food is being sponsored by the CO-OP and Dominoes. The first Friday night it is a local group of people and on Saturday it is the Kinsmen, Kinnettes and Steelworkers driving everyone home with their teams."
The hours of operation will be between 9pm and 2am and don’t forget if you are headed out to the lake areas you will need to call in by 1:30am. The number is 204-687-7331. Operation Red Nose still need volunteers for December the 20th and 31st and if you are interested, you can print off the volunteer sheet from the Rotary Club’s facebook page and then take it into the RCMP for a safety check.
