The Province of Saskatchewan held a community meeting in Denare Beach last Thursday to update the Village on progress they continue to make , as well as resources available for people due to the wildfire this past summer.

The SPSA, Sask Mental Health, Canadian Red Cross and members of Denare Beach administration were all in attendance.

Meredith Norman, the Chief Administration Officer explains how you can get the assistance you need. " The Red Cross can help you with any insurance questions, engineering questions, legal questions, if you need financial support. They can also help you with mental health supports, if you are looking at companies like Mennonite Disaster Service to help you rebuild,  if you are uninsured or under insured they are the case manager for them as well. So any questions you have that we can't answer in the office, the Red Cross can help."

Meredith also went on to mention that they have forms available at the Denare Beach Village office if you are in need of temporary housing as well as a form for Individual Needs Assessment.
