Operation Red Nose sponsored by the Flin Flon Rotary Club will kick off another holiday season this Saturday.
Co-chair Colleen Tower explains how the service will work. " If you are out for the evening and need a ride and you want to get your car home too, just give them a call at 687-7331. A team of three people will come out to where you are and pick you and your car up and get you home for free. We do take tips and donations and all the money go's back into the community."
Operation Red Nose will provide rides in Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach as well as the outlying lake areas between 9pm and 2am. If you are heading out to the lake areas, calls need to be in by 1:30am.
Volunteers are still needed for December the 20th and December the 31st. If you are interested in helping out you can phone 204-687-0838. The Border Explorers Snowmobile Club are volunteering this Saturday.
