RE-UZ IT in Flin Flon has made some donations towards the Flin Flon and Creighton fire departments to help purchase some equipment.

Kathy McCormick talks about how the fund raiser came about. “Because we had opened our business to everyone who lost anything in the fire. Once upon a time, one of the Denare Beach Firefighters was in the store and I asked him what kind of equipment or things they may need. And he said sprinklers, they don’t have enough sprinklers. So, I named the fundraising that I’m doing the Sprinkler Fundraiser.”

Donations were received from people who came to the store and RE-UZ IT matched the amounts given. Two presentations have been made so far with $2,000.00 being given to the Flin Flon Fire Department during their Boot Drive. Another $2,000.00 was given to the Creighton Fire Department last week.
