There are plenty of ways to get into the Christmas spirit in Flin Flon and the surrounding area this holiday season, including the Flin Flon Community Choir and Children’s Choir’s presentation of a Charlie Brown Christmas.
Director Angela Ishaka invites the community to come out and celebrate. " The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra is coming to delight us with the music from A Charlie Brown Christmas. They are bringing along a narrator who will be telling the story in between the songs, and that will be really special. There will be a few soloists from our community as well. In the first half we will have the Children's Choir doing a few pieces and the Adult Choir."
There is also a brand new group that has started this year including the Children’s Junior Choir, under the direction of Vanessa Whitbread which is Kindergarten to grade 2. The concert will take place on Saturday November the 29th, 7pm at the Flin Flon Community Hall. Tickets are available at the Flin Flon Arts Council Office for $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for children.
