The Flin Flon Legion local branch number 73 will be holding their Remembrance Day Banquet this  Saturday and Remembrance Day Service next Tuesday.

Just before the service on Tuesday the Legion will hold their annual parade. Bob Penner explains the parade route.  " The parade will leave from in front of the Legion and go down to Fourth Avenue and Hapnot street. Fourth Avenue is the street of the old CO-OP. We then go up Fourth Avenue to Hill Street, down Hill Street past the Cenotaph taking the salute. We will then carry on down by Kleen All and up towards Main Street then to the stairs over by the Community Hall."

You should arrive at the Legion by 9:45 with the parade starting shortly after 10am. Tickets are still available for the Remembrance Day Banquet for $30.00 and can be picked up at the Legion Office or from the bar. The Remembrance Day Service from the Community Hall will start at 10:45 and will be broadcast on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com.
