A new program has worked well in Flin Flon School Division

Enrichment teacher Kali Senyk was the guest presenter last night at the Flin Flon School Board meeting.  Senyk worked with students in grades four through eight at Ruth Betts and McIsaac schools who were chosen for the LEAP Program.  Students were selected based on CAT 4 results and teacher recommendations.  The Learning Enriched Activities Program allows students to work together in various cluster groups based on a multiple intelligence test and interest survey.  Senyk told the Board that students are excited to participate in the program and she has received positive feedback from parents and the community.  During the presentation Senyk played an iMovie highlighting the student’s accomplishments.
