The Flin Flon Fire Department was called to McIsaac School yesterday afternoon in a call that proved to be a false alarm.

Fire Chief Jim Petrie says a child hit a smoke detector in the hallway and set off the alarm system.  The school has cameras in the hallway and they were able to identify the child who will be disciplined by the school.
