The annual Bust the Winter Blues Festival is being held at the end of this month.  Committee member Channa Senyk says the fun starts on the Friday with stew and a bun at the Heritage Manor, they have a free fun swim and a free fun skate followed by Kinette’s Trivia Night.  She adds Saturday starts out with a pancake breakfast at the Friendship Center, a craft show at the Elks Hall and down to the Rotary Wheel for an afternoon of fun and games, the baking event and in the evening the Mardi Gras Family Fun Night.  Senyk says Sunday wraps it up with their family fishing tournament on Phantom Lake and the Border Explorers Poker Derby, spades and a crib tournament.

The Festival runs February 28th to March 2nd put on by Creighton Recreation, Flin Flon Parks and Recreation, Creighton Community School and the Friendship Center.
