You can learn more about training opportunities

The Employment Links Development Center in Flin Flon is holding information sessions on the EWIN or Entry to Work in the North program. The Center’s Barb Link explains it’s a pre-employment program for those wanting to improve themselves in the nine essential skills.  She says they start with life skills, they work on upgrading and improving some math and English skills, skills to improve yourself in the workplace, computers, they get certificate programming and the highlight is if you’re work ready at the end a six week job placement in the community which is going to be a great asset for people trying to get back into the workplace.

The information sessions take place at 1:30 this afternoon and again on February 6th at the Center at 51 Main Street.  The next program starts on February 18th.  For information you can call 204-687-8791.
