It was a busy end to Operation Red Nose

Operation Red Nose completed its final night of getting people and their vehicles home safely New Year’s Eve.  The Rotary Club’s Co-chair Ted Hewitt says they were really busy with 53 calls for rides which was their highest amount in a number of years.  He says because of the large number of calls some people had to wait in excess of an hour for service but their volunteers did a great job and replied to every call working until about 4 AM to clean up the calls.

Operation Red Nose began November 29th and ran every Friday and Saturday night through December as well as New Year’s Eve.
