The Women Business Owners of Manitoba is accepting nominations for the 2014 Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Awards Committee Manager Lise Carbineau explains the basic criteria for nominations is the business owner must be in business for at least three years, have at least a 50 percent or more ownership in the business and have the leadership role in the organization making major decisions.
Carbineau says anyone can submit a nomination by visiting their website www.wbom.ca by January 17th. She says they have had winners from across the province including one from Thompson a few years ago.
