Flin Flon’s Elks Lodge is accepting applications for Christmas hampers until December 13th.  Exalted Ruler Gord Evans explains anybody can apply for a hamper if they are less fortunate and don’t have enough to have a meal at Christmas time.  He says what they normally like to do is have people phone in for somebody but if they’re in dire straits and need a hamper they don’t mind people phoning in for themselves.

To apply you can call Gord Evans, Linda Martindale or the Elks Hall and leave a message.  You can also call to donate to their hamper program. The hampers will be delivered on December 21st between 9 and noon.

The hampers will not include toys as those are available from the Christmas Gift Program by calling the Friendship Center at 204-687-3900
