Flin Flon RCMP will join other detachments across the province in the annual holiday check stop program that is now underway.  Constable Cam Lussier says their detachment and the northern Traffic Services Unit will participate.  He says the main focus again this year will be on impaired driving and high risk drivers and this will be done through detection at check stops as well as during regular patrols throughout December so expect to be stopped.  He also reminds everyone to keep their drivers licence on them as well as use the services of taxis and Operation Red Nose.

The check stop program will run until January 1st.
