Temperatures are starting to drop and we will soon be heading into another Winter in Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The Flin Flon Friendship Centre will once again be accepting donations of winter clothing items for people that are in need here in our community. Leah Bear tells us what type of items they are looking for.

" We are looking for winter coats, thicker sweaters, sweat-shirts, socks,mitts, touques and scarfs. It would be nice if we could get some of the Hot Pockets, you squeeze them and they make your hands warm. We are extremely appreciative to the community for the donations that we do receive and will receive. Everything is greatly appreciated and it takes a team and a community to help our community members."

You can drop off items at the Friendship Centre Main Office, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
