Information Session Held In Denare Beach

The Village of Denare Beach held a meeting at the Denareplex last Thursday to discuss information on progress and planning after the wildfires as well as concerns and obstacles that the residents are facing.

Jen Hysert chaired the meeting and has been appointed as a Special Assistant  liaison between the Village and Buckley Belanger’s office in Ottawa. Hysert explains what she wants to accomplish in her new role. " I am starting off my project with a community gathering, one to give information to the community. We also want to collect information from the residents to hear what is their biggest concerns and what we need to focus in on. From there, I am going to spend the next five weeks, itemizing each week what we need. I am going to be meeting  with Buckley's right hand man Devin and there are three other officials, one that works directly in the House Of Commons. We are going to debrief with her every Monday and let her know what type of progress we are making and get her the information they need."

Kari Lentowicz has also been hired as a Special Assistant and these appointments will last til December the 6th. A final meeting has been tentatively set for November the 27th to present all the findings and request the attendance of many delegates. They will be inviting the Premier Scott Moe, Buckley Belanger, Jordan McPhail, Carla Beck as well as other Ministers and representatives from Sask Power and SGI.
