The Central Canada Film Group in the spirit of Halloween, will be showing a movie that took home an Oscar back in the early 80’s this Friday night at the Hapnot Theatre.
Colin Davis explains that this is going to be a movie that is a little different than they typically show. " Well Halloween is coming and we thought we would treat you to a real cult classic favorite, An American Werewolf In London. So what kind of film is this? Is there such thing as a Horror Comedy? Well if there is, this is certainly it. This is very much removed from what we usually show, but if you are up for something different you may wanna give this one a shot. This is a film that almost didn't get made as financial backers thought that the script was to frightening to be a Comedy, and to humorous to be a Horror."
If you are looking to get into the spirit of Halloween they would like to see you tomorrow night. Doors open at 7, the show will start at 7:30 and drinks and snacks will be available at the door and don’t forget admission is free.
