You are invited to come out and meet and thank all the firefighters who came together to protect our community this past summer from the devastating wildfires.
The Flin Flon Fire Department will be holding their annual Banquet and Social on Saturday October the 18th at the Flin Flon Community Hall.
Damian Dominey on behalf of the firefighters looks forward to bringing together all the different fire departments and organizations who had an integral part.
“...yeah definitely was a Summer to remember, I guess if you wanna call it that. Normally we have a banquet that’s kinda just for our department, but we thought all considering it’d be suitable and make sense to invite everybody that was involved from anywhere that came to help from firefighters right down to the OFC and different contractors that we had that came up.”
Over 200 firefighters from across the province have confirmed that they will be in attendance. The Banquet is closed to the public but the social is open to everyone with doors opening at 9pm.
