The Town Of Creighton is going to be offering free Mental Health Training in October.
There will be two different courses on October the 6th and 7th and again on the 8th and 9th.
Assist will take place on the 6th and 7th and will be facilitated by Ginny Chen and Cathy Wheaton Bird and will be a two day interactive skills based workshop that prepares people to provide suicide intervention.
The course on the 8th and 9th will be facilitated by Ginny Chen and will and will be training to equip front line workers with practical knowledge and skills to provide support to people suffering from a decline in their mental health.
