Yesterday , at approximately 4:20 a.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of a shooting on Caroline Ratt Street.
Officers immediately responded and located an injured teenaged female, who was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature. Investigation determined the victim was outside a residence when she was shot by an unknown individual.
La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate. Anyone with information or who saw suspicious activity on Caroline Ratt Street during the early morning hours of September 22nd is asked to report it by calling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, RCMP will notify the public.
