Contractors have started  working with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure and  will be taking down traffic lights at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Main Street (by Pioneer Square) to conduct concrete work beneath the traffic lights at the intersection.

Crews will also be working on installing traffic control lights at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Main Street.

The work will require brief road closures at the intersections, and should be completed within two weeks.  Please take this into account when travelling in the area, and drive cautiously near construction crews.
