Membership in Hudbay’s Quarter Century Club climbed on Friday night with the presentation of watches to 32 employees who have completed 25 years of continuous service with the Company.  MC Cal Huntley said this Club represents over 75 thousand years of service.  Hudbay Vice-President of Manitoba Operations Brad Lantz thanked the award winners and all employees noting this has been a good year for Hudbay.  He said all the projects they have been working so hard on over the last few years are starting to pay some dividends which is great to see.  He added next year they’re going to see an increase in production in the area which is great and is all that they’ve been waiting for and it takes a lot of hard work from people out there to make that happen.

Safety awards were presented to 28 employees with 25 years, 9 with 30 years, 12 with 35 years and 1 with 40 years without a lost time accident.  Recognition was also given to 13 employees who retired over the past year.
