The Flin Flon Norva Centre is preparing for their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Square Foot Exhibition and Auction.
Megan Dupuis provides the details. " This is an opportunity for local artists of all ages and skill levels to have their art work featured in a large public exhibition at the Norva Centre. To enter this exhibit, artists will pay a registration fee and receive a canvas from us. They take the canvass home and they can paint it and transform it how ever they like into an original art work. They then submit their artwok back to us and we hang up all the entries together into our gallery space."
You will be able to silently bid on all the art work which will be on display from September the 25th til the end of October. The select art work will be chosen for the live auction at the end of October.
The registration fee is $20.00 for youth under 18 and for adults $25.00 which will give you one canvass. If you would like to submit multiple entries it will be $5.00 per extra entry. The deadline to register is this Saturday September 20th at 4pm. Finished artwork must be submitted to Norva by Wednesday September 24th.
