Canadian Army Cadets Have Started Their Fall Programs

The 2328 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps have started their programs and are looking for anyone between 12 and 18 who would like to come out and join.

Captain Laurel Mymko talks about some of the activities that they have planned for this  year. " So we will do everything from map and compass to camping in the wilderness,  and the one we are doing as a joint is going to be the Winter Ex, where we go camping in the winter. We have a whole pile of things to do this year including the schools for Remembrance Day. We already have those in place and we know who is doing what."

The local Cadets have moved from the Saskatchewan side back to Manitoba and will be doing exercises with cadets from Thompson, The Pas and Cross Lake three times during the year. If you are interested in joining and finding out more you can stop by the Flin Flon Community Hall Monday night’s from 7 til 9pm. They also have range in the Legion every second Thursday.
