Cranberry wrapped up another summer of Artisan Markets this past weekend at the Cranberry Heritage Museum.
Despite having to cancel two markets due to the wildfires, the event was very successful with lots of vendors and people coming together from all over.
Barb Bragg has the details. " We still had in the last two markets in August and September almost two thousand people come to Cranberry. That is absolutely amazing and remember we only have around 600 people who live in the community. In terms of vendors the numbers keep going up which is great, but we are going to have to start finding more space because if everyone would of showed up for the first market we would of had 67. That would push our limits in terms of where we are right now and we will see what kind of opportunities that brings for us."
Barb went on to mention that they have lots of other events coming up to promote Cranberry, including their Trails Committee who is in the midst of putting up signage for all their trails. They will also be revamping their museum and look forward to their Christmas Market on November the 22nd and have some funding to upgrade their beach.
