Flin Flon gets ready to welcome the hit CBC TV show Still Standing which will start filming in the community next week.
One of the highlights is Jonny Harris a comedian and host of this show doing a stand up comedy show at the Flin Flon Community Hall on Tuesday September the 9th.
Alison Dallas Funk, Flin Flon’s Deputy Mayor looks forward to welcoming the CBC crew to our community. " I think it is super exciting for our community , something positive especially after a trying summer. The exposure for everyone to see how great it is as we already know. It is awesome as Canada wide will get to see how great our community is. It is interesting as we are still standing and I like to think that one of Flin Flon's greatest gifts and strengths is how resilient we are. Before Hudbay closed, while Hudbay closed and even after the fires, that is who we are as a people."
Doors will open for the comedy show at 7pm and there are no tickets required and no reserved seating.
