Adult and Teen Challenge will be holding their annual Rubber Duck Race this Saturday at the Wallace street Bridge starting at 1pm.
Kandie Lagore the Development Director explains some of the changes to the format of the race. " For all of the ducks that have been sold we are going to break them up into four groups. So for heat 1, those four groups are going to individually race. Then the top 5 ducks from each of those groups are going to be going on to heat 2. Then heat 2 we will have 20 ducks that are going to race and the first 10 ducks that come through are going to go to the final heat, heat 3. Then from there we will get our first duck in and third place duck."
It all starts with a barbecue at noon which will include give aways and graduates sharing their testimonies before the race starts at 1pm. Great prizes for the top three ducks including a 2025 Polaris Ranger 570 full size side by side valued at $16,000.00. Tickets are $40.00 and can be picked up at the CO-OP til this Friday.
