You are invited to Pioneer Square tomorrow to recognize International Overdose Awareness Day.

Christa McIntire on behalf of the Play It Safer Network tells us what the day is all about. " International Overdose Awareness Day is celebrated each year and we are coming together to remember without stigma,  those who have died from overdose and recognize the grief of family and friends left behind. The theme this year  is One Big Family Driven By Hope. This theme reminds us by building connection and compassion , we can move from awareness to action and save lives. We can come together as one big family to take action on overdose."

It will take place between 1 and 2 :30 and you are invited to come out for a barbecue, entertainment and information and sharing. This event is open to the entire community.
