Cranberry Portage wants to recognize the efforts of their firefighters this past summer and have planned a fundraiser for September.
The CP Wildfire Fundraising Committee are hosting a Backdraft Brats and Beer Fundraiser and Barb Bragg says they want to show their appreciation. " Well you know all of us here in Cranberry Portage are so grateful to our fire department, who was ready if necessary when the fires were happening back in May and June. We just wanted to do something to show our appreciation and raise some funds for some of the equipment that would of been helpful if we had it in place this tim around."
It will take place at the Cranberry Portage Heritage Museum on Saturday September the 20th between 3 and 8pm. There will be lots of live entertainment, beer garden, food vendors, homemade sausage competition and much more.
