This past Saturday, Pelican Narrows RCMP responded to a report of an 18-year-old male from Pelican Narrows who was seriously injured (by firearm) on Kaskew Crescent . He was transported to the local health clinic by members of the public and pronounced deceased shortly after. An autopsy will take place  in Saskatoon later today.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, supported by RCMP Historical Case Unit police officers, continue to investigate with the assistance of Pelican Narrows RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Section.

Investigators do not believe there is an increased safety risk at this time. Should this change, they  will notify the public immediately.
