The Saskatchewan Government and General Employees Union will be making their way to Northern Saskatchewan next week.
SGEU will be in Denare Beach on Thursday August the 14th to make a cheque presentation to the Denare Beach Fire Fighters.
President Tracy Sauer says they are thinking about all those affected and want to help. " Our administration committee which is made up of Vice Presidents from different sectors had a meeting, and we just wanted to do something to help Denare Beach. Lots of our members are from across Saskatchewan and these fires have been affecting everybody. Especially our Northern neighbors and their families and we do represent the Wildland Firefighters and we know how much they are going through as well."
The cheque presentation will take place at 5:30 at the Denare Beach Firehall with a dinner planned for the firefighters and their families at 6:30 at the Creighton Community Hall.
