Here is the latest on the Snow Lake fire from earlier this morning.
Crews made solid progress yesterday, continuing mop-up efforts in several areas. This work will continue today. Less than 1 mm of rain was recorded yesterday, and additional light rainfall is possible tonight, which would support ongoing suppression efforts.
Planning and coordination remain ongoing with Manitoba Wildfire, Manitoba EMO, and other external agencies to prepare for a safe, efficient re-entry process once the threat to the community has been reduced and it is safe to do so.
Further updates will be shared as conditions evolve.
