In The sprit of strength and resiliency - the 1st Annual ‘Beaver- Palooza’ will take place this Sunday in Denare Beach.
One of the organizers, Tanner Brough, discusses the reasoning behind putting on a positive local event.
“We’re looking just too kinda get the community together. Obviously this summer has been quite devastating to a lot of people in this community and...It gets everybody’s mind off something for a little bit of time. You know, moving forward, showing that things are gonna be alright down the road...celebrate just the community and the people we got in this region that have helped all summer and are ready to keep moving forward.”
The event goes from 3-11 on Sunday at the Main Beach Parking Lot. They’ll have a beer garden, music, and barbecue with proceeds going to Village of Denare Beach, plus a 50/50 in support of The Denare Beach Fire Dept. Rebuilding efforts. Everyone is invited to celebrate the summer and promote the North working together in the present and future.
