Crews continued working overnight, with the mini unit and a skid truck addressing hotspots in 3 Zone. Two engines were also active along Lalor Road and near the Rodren laydown area. A few additional power poles may have been lost, but dense smoke is limiting visibility and damage assessment. Manitoba Hydro is actively wrapping utility poles in the area as a fire protection measure, with all identified poles expected to be completed by the end of this week.
High carbon monoxide levels in the air prompted pulling all crews back early this morning, however levels have fallen and dayshift crews are back to work addressing hotspots and flare ups.
