This past Friday, Deschambault Lake RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence in Deschambault Lake.
Investigation determined a victim was assaulted by a group of individuals, who did not let them leave the residence. The victim was later able to escape. They were treated at the hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
This past Monday six individuals were arrested in Deschambault Lake with the assistance of the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Provincial General Investigation Section and Critical Incident Response Team.
As a result of continued investigation, 31-year-old Earl Ballantyne, 19-year-old Tyler Ballantyne, 29-year-old Stephan Sakima Ballantyne, 30-year-old Zachary Ballantyne, 26-year-old Raeanna Michel, 20-year-old Sharona Custer, 20-year-old Sherri Custer, and a female teenager are each charged with multiple counts of assault, forcible confinement and robbery
Warrants have been issued for the arrests of Earl Ballantyne and Tyler Ballantyne and Deschambault Lake RCMP are actively working to locate and arrest them.
Tyler Ballantyne sometimes goes by the name “Tyler Michel’. He is described as approximately 6’ and 140 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.
They are known to frequent Deschambault Lake and may travel to Pelican Narrows or Prince Albert, but their current whereabouts are unknown.
