The clean up form the wildfires are underway in Denare Beach. (Provincial officials say recovery teams have been clearing out charred properties in Denare Beach, which lost 218 homes to the flames. Crews have also removed 230 destroyed vehicles.

Lot Cleanups are taking place and residents are reminded to be cautious as heavy trucks and equipment will be working. As a result some roadways will be blocked. A clean up waiver is needed to be added to the effort. Those who are planning to rebuild will need to email permits and zoning information. All requests can be made to denarebeach@sasktel.net as land lines are still down within the Village.

Also there will be a resiliency centre at the Denareplex today and tomorrow from 10am-7pm. With the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program, Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Health Authority, Red Cross and social services all in attendance.
