Hapnot students were honoured for their hard work and accomplishments over the past year.
Diplomas were presented to 55 graduates on Saturday night along with 70 bursary awards and scholarships.
The largest award the Hudbay W.A Green Bursary for highest average for $35,00.00 for up to four years went to Braeden Tetlock who also received the Governor General Bronze Medal.
There were four new scholarships awarded this year including the Flin Flon Heritage Fund which was presented to Jack Eastman. The Wayne Kopachinski Memorial Fund went to Niki Keramydas. The Bruno Zerbin Northern Mining Exploration Scholarship for $2,000.00 for pursuing a career in Mining went to Rylan Raddish. The Red River Metis Flin Flon Local bursary was presented to Mackenzie McLean for active community involvement through participation in school clubs,sports and volunteer work.
The Bill Friesen Memorial Scholarship for $5,000.00 for pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree ended up going to Davian Law.
