Flin Flon Mayor George Fontaine and Deputy Mayor Alison Dallas Funk were guest’s on the first CFAR City Beat Show after the wildfire evacuation.

The show aired last Wednesday and both guests were able to provide information on everything that went into the process while Flin Flon and the surrounding area were evacuated.

Mayor Fontaine says there will be another update coming out from the Flin Flon Fire Chief. " When this is all over we will get an update on a recap so we can understand what was right and what was wrong,  on what actually happened. Our Fire Chief will be making up reports and we will make sure that any information that we have in respect to this fire  that it will be made available to the public. We are not planning on keeping any secrets to this because everybody is taking part and everybody is vulnerable to it. If we know something we are not going to keep it under our hats."
