The Wahkohtowin Trails Committee are ready to resume plans to expand their trails after returning from the evacuation. They are happy to report that their Phantom Trail has survived in it’s entirety.

Leslie Beck tells us they can hardly wait to get back to work." This summer we are going to put together some people to go out and do some snipping on Phantom Lake and get our story boards up , and do assessments on what the rest of the trails look like. We are still moving forward with our plans and our hearts go out to the people of Denare Beach,  and if there is anything we can do to make a bright spot for them out there  we would love to come out."

They will also continue to fundraise and will be doing some bartending during Blueberry Jam. They are still in need of some helpers and if you can help out you can contact them on their facebook page.
