More than 200 homes were destroyed by the Wolf fire which ravaged through Denare Beach back in June leaving many residents feeling helpless.
Teen and Adult Challenge who have been operating a drug and alcohol treatment centre for the last 18 years also lost their building due to the fire.
Al Legore who started the program in Northern Saskatchewan many years ago says they do plan to rebuild. " We are in the situation of trying to work with insurance to get that worked out. We just hope everything moves along as quick as possible, because the longer the centre is down, the longer the people can't get help in the North. Our hearts are to get it going as soon as we can. We do have some staff here and a few are back in Steinbach with our students who were moved there."
Teen and Adult Challenge still have their office on Main street in Flin Flon which will be extending their hours, and will also be working out of their bible camp on Amisk Lake.
