There will be a Blue Berry Jam fundraiser this Saturday at Johnny’s Social Club starting at 8pm.

This will be a fun way for people to get together after the evacuation and enjoy some great music and raise money for a great summer event.

Mark Kolt is the organizer and talks about the inspiration in putting this together. " So when we were in Winnipeg we had a fundraiser for the Red Cross at my daughter Katrin's house. We had a lot of participation for that and had a great time , and a chance for a lot of Flin Flonner's to get together. This is sort of in the same spirit,  but that was for the Red Cross and coming back here,  one of the things we are facing is to whether go ahead with BlueBerry Jam."

A lot of Flin Flon’s top performers will be taking part including Jennifer Hanson, Dave Biner, Derek Kemp, Kevin Imrie, Holly Freeborn, Jo Anne Sawko, Katarina Njegoven and many others. The show is sold out but they are planning for a follow up show.
