The Flin Flon Station Museum opened up for the summer on Canada Day at the Flin Flon Tourist Bureau.
Museum Chairman Joe Buie is excited to open the doors and welcomes you to come and check out Flin Flon’s rich history. " Well in the back end there, we have a huge display from Hudbay, the history of mining. Then we get into artifacts from local businesses that were in town, and then artifacts that have to deal with some of the Pioneers who started our community. So those are some of the things that you could see, including anything from an old diving suit that was used at Island Falls to an old refrigerator that was made in the 1930's."
The Museum is open daily 10 to 6 and will be open right up until September. It is free to attend and donations are welcome and you can call 204-687-2946 to arrange a tour or for more information.
