The evacuation notice for Denare Beach has been lifted as of today and the roadblock has been removed. All residents including seasonal can now enter the village.

 

The Village is asking to please have respect during this difficult time and to not trespass on private property. They are also asking any unnecessary traffic to refrain from entering the Village at this time.

 

If you are a returning resident they would like you to come to the Village Office between 9 and 4:30pm the rest of the week. You need to register and pick up your information booklet.

 

If you have structure loss before any cleanup can take place, the Ministry of Environment must complete an environmental assessment of the area.

 

The landfill is currently not approved by the province to accept any materials from devastadted areas.

 

A pre- cautionary boil water advisory is still in affect and phone lines are still down.
