Foran Mining Corporation  has announced that they have responded to a regional wildfire evacuation order that includes their Mcllvenna Bay Project located on the Hanson Lake road.

All non essential personnel and contractors are being evacuated from the site as a precautionary measure by the end of Thursday. This evacuation is out of abundance of caution and the close proximity of the fire.

Foran has taken all necessary measures to protect their personnel and a limited number of essential staff will remain on site to ensure the safety and security of the project. Foran is working closely with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency to actively support the site team and ensure a safe, orderly and effective return to full operations  at the earliest appropriate opportunity.
