The Flin Flon Motorcycle Association is celebrating their 33rd annual Run To The Border weekend with lots of events including their annual Poker Derby on Saturday.
The Motor Cycle Association’s Paul Garret explains this year’s route. " Well first of all we are going to meet at the Gateway at about 9:30 and try to leave around 10am. We are going to start driving to Wanless and stop at the Wanless gas station, that is where the first poker stop is going to be. Then we will drive into Cranberry and hopefully get there around noon and do a hand there. Then we will make our way back to town to the Gateway and do a hand there and we will get the Firemen to parade us around town like usual. Then we will go back to our shop and finish the poker hands there."
Other events this weekend include a toy run in conjunction with the Friendship Centre for their annual Christmas program. If you would like to drop off toys you can stop by the Gateway or head to their shop in Creighton.
The draw will also take place Saturday afternoon for the Harley Davidson Heritage Classic Motor Cycle from the clubhouse on Clarke street at 4pm and broadcast on CFAR.
