Highlights From The 80th CO-OP AGM

The North Of 53 CO-OP held their 80th AGM Wednesday night from St Anne’s Hall.

President Dennis Whitbread chaired the meeting and read a tribute to former long time  Director Del Ward who recently passed away. Del was on the CO-OP board for 14 years and was a great volunteer and his contributions will certainly be missed.

Despite the wildfires and cyber attack, sales remained strong in 2024. Whitbread thanked the board and employees for their efforts and team work during a difficult  time.

Randy Dumenko the long time General Manager also thanked the board and the employees for their support and loyalty and has just celebrated his 46th year with the CO-OP.

Even with the challenges the CO-OP was able to save their members over $300,000.00 and will be issuing equity cheques in early June.

To show their appreciation to the customers and members they will once again host their appreciation barbecue in June and cake with the directors in October.

Long time member Dave Kendall has retired after 24 years and has relocated to Saskatoon.

Congratulations to Linda Clark, Nevada Danis and Chelsea Dion who were all re-elected by acclamation. There is still one board spot open and two people have expressed interest in joining the board. An announcement will be made soon.
