With summer arriving , Beaver City Tours wants to give you an opportunity to rediscover a fascinating place.
Whether you have lived in this area your whole life, new to the area or just visiting , this is a summer time adventure the whole family would enjoy.
Local historian Les Oystryk is your tour guide and is inviting you to come out and explore the remnants of one of the first communities in our area.
" We generally meet at the lodge building at T and D Amisk Camp at around 1 pm. We have a brief orientation and introduction to what the tour entails for anyone who joins us. We have to access the Beaver City site by going across the water for a short boat ride which is about 5 or 10 minutes. We will proceed to see what remnants are there and answer a lot of questions about the history of Beaver City."
Tours are approximately 3 hours in duration and will run rain or shine and is $50.00 per person. For tour dates and times you can contact Les at 306-688-0810. There is also a Beaver City facebook page.
